Visit Our Workshop Center
The Workshop Center is the heart of Highlander. Here, people from all walks of life gather in the vision of shared learning to find collective solutions. Build relationships and strategies in our legendary rocking chair circle, take in the views of the mountains from our balcony, and enjoy use of our patio seating, full kitchen, and primary dining area, where you’ll experience our radical hospitality.
The Septima Clark Learning Center
In the center of our campus is the Septima Clark Learning Center, Highlander’s library and archive. It houses our radical bookstore; a multi-use room for films, displays, workshops, healing space, or art-making; and has an incredible deck and porch to enjoy views of the sprawling Smoky Mountains.
